CEO
Dr. Ajay Nanavati is an experienced primary care physician with a strong background in healthcare spanning over 20 years. He founded RapidMDNow to solve the complexities of employee wellness, including workers' compensation, behavioral health, and express care services for employers. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both employers and unwell workers, Dr. Nanavati has dedicated himself to revolutionizing access to care. His company offers comprehensive solutions tailored to the workers' compensation environment, leveraging technology with user-friendly platforms that simplify the process for employers to connect with qualified healthcare professionals. Dr. Nanavati's patient-centered philosophy ensures injured workers receive treatments tailored to their individual needs, expediting recovery and facilitating safe return to workplaces.
Shrinath Patel, MHA, PA-C
Psychiatrist & Urgent Care
Shrinath Patel is a Physician Assistant with a Masters in Healthcare Administration. He currently works in the Psychiatry and Urgent Care fields with vast knowledge in Addiction Medicine. While working in these fields, he found the health disparities that his patients face — many related to lack of access to care with cost and affordability in mind. Learning about these struggles, he expanded his goals to provide patients with accessible care while maintaining quality and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and knowledgeable at the conclusion of each appointment or urgent care visit.
Afia Boahemaah, PMHNP-BC
Mental Health
Afia is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare. With over 10 years of healthcare experience, including 7 years as a registered nurse and 3 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a patient-centered approach to her practice. Afia specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorder. She is committed to helping individuals achieve improved mental wellness by developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, goals, and life circumstances. Afia believes that effective mental healthcare begins with trust, collaboration, and open communication. Outside of her professional practice, Afia enjoys cooking, exploring new recipes, and spending quality time with family. She values balance, wellness, and lifelong learning, principles that guide both her personal and professional life.
Abigail Higgins, RMA, CPT, CMAA
Administrator
Abigail Higgins is the current administrator of RapidMDNow. She holds over 15 years of experience in the medical field and has earned multiple licenses and certifications. Abigail graduated high school in California in 2010 and went on to college and vocational school, where she obtained a range of certifications and licenses. In 2018, she moved with her family to Massachusetts, where she continued to grow. For many years, Abby has worked closely with Dr. Ajay Nanavati, further strengthening her leadership and clinical expertise. In her free time, Abby loves to listen to music, dance, read books, spend time with her family and play with her kids. She is deeply passionate about taking care of those that need help, ensuring the best Care possible for her patients and mentoring new professionals.
Arianna Ferri, MA
Medical Assistant
Arianna is a college student at Middlesex Community College, having graduated from Dracut High School in 2025. Driven by her family needing medical care and assistance, including herself, she is pursuing her Associate in Science for Health and Medical, switching from Computer Sciences. She is a brilliant and helpful young lady who loves helping people, and is open to new experiences in life and determined to make her goals come true. During her free time, she loves listening to music, reading, and playing games. She is enthusiastic about her roles in life and what she would like to accomplish.
