Sinus Symptoms We Help With
- Facial pain or pressure (forehead, cheeks, or around the eyes)
- Stuffy or runny nose with thick, discolored discharge
- Postnasal drip and sore throat
- Reduced sense of smell or taste
- Headache or upper-tooth/jaw pressure
- Cough and congestion that linger
Can a Sinus Infection Be Treated Online?
Yes. A licensed provider reviews your symptoms and history by video and recommends a plan. Most sinus infections are viral and get better with supportive care — rest, fluids, saline rinses, and over-the-counter relief — and antibiotics won't help those. When your symptoms point to a bacterial infection (for example, symptoms lasting 10+ days without improvement, or getting worse after starting to improve, with significant facial pain or fever), a provider may prescribe an antibiotic when clinically appropriate and send it to your pharmacy. We won't prescribe antibiotics when they won't help — that's better for you and for everyone. In Massachusetts a good-faith exam is required first and can be done by telehealth.
When You Should Be Seen In Person (or Go to the ER)
Some symptoms need in-person or emergency care. Seek care right away if you have:
- Swelling, redness, or pain around one eye, or changes in vision
- A severe headache, stiff neck, or confusion
- A high fever that won't come down
For symptoms that aren't improving, or sinus infections that keep coming back, we'll arrange an in-person visit at our Chelmsford office.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can I be seen for a sinus infection?+
Video visits are often available within minutes. When a prescription is appropriate, it's sent to your pharmacy right after your visit.
Will I get antibiotics?+
Only if your symptoms suggest a bacterial infection and a provider judges them appropriate. Most sinus infections are viral and improve with supportive care, so antibiotics often aren't the answer — we'll be honest with you about what will actually help.
Is it a sinus infection or just allergies?+
They can feel similar. A provider will ask about your symptoms, timing, and history to tell the difference and recommend the right treatment — which may be allergy care rather than an antibiotic.
What if my sinus infection won't go away?+
Symptoms lasting beyond about 10 days, or that keep returning, deserve a closer look. We'll evaluate you and may recommend an in-person visit at our Chelmsford office.
How much does it cost?+
$79 flat for self-pay; we also accept most commercial insurance. (Additional charges may apply for related services.)
Who can use this?+
Anyone physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire at the time of the visit.
