(Additional charges may apply for related services.)
UTI Symptoms We Help With
- A burning feeling when you urinate
- A frequent or urgent need to go — even when little comes out
- Cloudy, dark, or strong-smelling urine
- Pelvic or lower-abdominal discomfort
- Mild lower-back discomfort without fever
Can a UTI Be Treated Online?
For most simple, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, yes. A licensed provider reviews your symptoms and history on a video visit and, when clinically appropriate, prescribes an antibiotic that's sent to your pharmacy. In Massachusetts a good-faith exam is required first and can be done by telehealth. If your situation needs a urine test or hands-on exam, we'll tell you and get you seen — same-week at our Chelmsford office, or sooner if urgent.
When You Should Be Seen In Person (or Go to the ER)
Some UTI-like symptoms need in-person care. Please choose in-person or emergency care if you have:
- Fever, chills, nausea, or pain in your side/back (possible kidney infection)
- Blood in your urine
- Symptoms during pregnancy
- UTI symptoms in men
- Recurrent UTIs (several in a year) or symptoms that don't improve after treatment
We'll help route you to our Chelmsford office, labs, or the ER as needed. For severe pain, high fever, or difficulty urinating, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can I be treated for a UTI?+
Video visits are often available within minutes. When a prescription is appropriate, it's sent to your pharmacy right after your visit.
Can the provider prescribe antibiotics?+
When clinically appropriate for an uncomplicated UTI, yes — antibiotics are non-controlled medications our providers can prescribe by telehealth and send to your pharmacy. Some cases (e.g., recurrent UTIs, men, pregnancy, or possible kidney involvement) need an in-person urine test or exam first, and we'll arrange that.
Do I need a urine test?+
Not always for a simple UTI — providers can often diagnose and treat based on your symptoms. If a test is needed, we'll get you in for one at our Chelmsford office.
What if my UTIs keep coming back?+
Recurrent UTIs deserve a closer look. We'll evaluate you and may recommend an in-person visit and testing to find out why and prevent the next one.
How much does it cost?+
$79 flat for self-pay; we also accept most commercial insurance. (Additional charges may apply for related services.)
Who can use this?+
Anyone physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire at the time of the visit.
